Subject: Anybody heard about this soda?
New soda by 7-Up...man, they'll do anything to sell a product!

Subject: Re: Anybody heard about this soda?
this is pretty interesting. It's similar to the design my friend and I made when we tried to turn a can of Mountain Dew into Whupass Cola. It does look authentic though.
Subject: Re: Anybody heard about this soda?
Looks interesting, and, as far as I can see, real. Delicious? Who knows...
Subject: Re: Anybody heard about this soda?
Somebody in the marketing department had too much time on their hands. ::)
It does look clever, though! ;)

Have you been tracking the auction!!? $102.00 for a case on the second day of the auction. Betcha a dollar someone is buying it as a collectible and has no intention of drinking any of it.

which is of course ridiculous.. if the soda doesn't sell well, and doesn't develop a following, it'll never be worth anything.. lottery tickets are a better bet..

Much to my suprise, It is not a joke. I Just Checked the Official webpage and they are serious.
Here is a quote:
7 UP turned the cola world upside down in 1967 when it introduced its famous "UNcola" marketing campaign, which featured the crisp, clear taste of 7 UP in an upside-down cola glass. Today, the makers of 7 UP once again have turned the soft drink world upside down with the first delivery of dnL – the flipped version of 7 UP that offers consumers a green, caffeinated kick of fruit flavor
And me thinking it was an Ebay prank.

EBay, the site created to trade pez dispensers, the site that climbed the mountain to success on the squishy backs of beanie babies. You can find anything on EBay, although their WEIRD section isn't weird enough, or nearly as weird as it used to be.

ALOC ACOC Hey!!! I saw that movie in 1982. It starred Ron Jeremy and Kay Parker. ;D
Subject: Re: Anybody heard about this soda?
I just bought a couple of bottles of it today. I want to give it a try.
Edited to add:
Tried it and I don't like it. But it's at least better than Pepsi Blue.
