Subject: Amazing Stories....

Last week a 25 year old fisherman was rescued after being adrift at sea for 62 days.  Using a large ice chest as his floatation device and shelter, he survived on fish that he managed to catch and water he collected.  Thank goodness rain is abundant in our area.  It is a miracle that he had survived for so long.  Especially after mentioning  that both killer whales and sharks had circled him from time to time.

Are there any Amazing Stories that you would like to share with us?

There was a story on last night's news about a woman trapped in her overturned and flattened car, underwater, stuck between the steering wheel and the pedals - the guy who dragged the car out (without realizing there was anyone inside) said she'd been in there 26 hours, so I guess there must have been enough sticking out from under the water to get a bit of fresh air to her.

There was the little old lady in Florida who was going to pick up her neice at the airport.  She was hit by a hit and run driver and went over the embankment.  She was stuck in her car for 4 days before anyone found her.  She had some hard candy and rainwater to survive on.  She was in her 80's when this happened last year.
