Idiots driving in the fast lane on the freeway while going only 65 mph.
Subject: Re: Things That You Turn Off
other female or senior citizen drivers. :)
my observations while driving have been that about 95% of the people who piss me off while i'm driving are women or old people.
not being sexist, it's just an observation of mine.
Subject: Re: Things That You Turn Off
Oh my, I was trying not to remember this, but I was stuck behind a female cab driver all the way home on a two-laner earlier. Thanks for that.
My mother has a tendancy never to drive at more than 40 mph on any road, and has to stick behind every speed limit, however darned late we are. Making us later, and later until the queues build.
Anyway, I digress.

Things that pith me off? People who don't like people, and people who believe hatred must conquer. I go on other boards, and see people being unkind to people and I don't see the point. Argh, there goes my rant. Now, what for that Rant off emoticon?

Being turned off turns me off. ;D

Sorry to all this offends, but old people and little kids in the grocery store. Went there today and wish I'd had a cattle prod...
To make it worse, this store is amply stocked with those ratty little kiddie grocery carts. Those things may just about nudge out the phone answering machine as the worst invention of the twentieth century.

I second that!! Hold on, actually EVERY bloody pop up ad. Those things just really piss me off!
I also turn the TV over to the music channels when there are advertisements. I can't be bothered to just sit and watch them. Its quite bad of a Media student I must say! :)

I like to turn off the AC in my car and open my windows when I get out of the BIG city and into the country where I live.

In fact, all pop-up ads! That's why I have a pop-up controller on my computer! Some time back I had the pop-up controller turned on but still I was getting pop-up ads from a certain IP address (like xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx; actually two, the second being one number higher than the other) that it didn't stop. I found out it was caused by spyware. I cleaned it out using Ad-Aware.
I also turn off crappy songs on the radio that I don't like.

Oh, I don't mind the porn so much, it's the offers to increase the size of my "member" by three inches... I mean, really, unless it works on battery-powered mechanisms, I don't know why I'd need it. Which I guess could also be my thing I turn off...
(And Steve, I find that shouting loudly, "The next kid that runs into me is coming home and learning to wash windows and mix margaritas!" tends to, if nothing else, guarantee that their mom's keep them close. So far it doesn't work on the old ladies who step on me though.)

I heard that. Hate those stupid things. They're not even "reality", people!
Subject: Re: Things That You Turn Off
Songs where the backing vocalists sing more then the singer. Like many Mariah Carey tunes, and that damned "Need To Know" by Marc Anthony. All that guy does is go "Oooh, Ohh, Ohh", while the background vocalists do all the singing! Takes me all of 2 seconds to turn those off as soon as I hear them...
