Subject: Response to a Rant...
This is actually because of the Whole thread of Banasy's Rant.
I know I am only a new Penguin on the block. and I havent really met anyone here yet. but I have to say that reading that Thread honestly brought tears to my eyes.(yes im a guy who cries, Deal with it)
I know the Pain I have lived through could never in a lifetime compare to Banasy's and I cant even Imagine what i would feel if I ever lost either of my two daughters.
but the love and support I saw and felt from all of the responses made me realize how cool this group really is.
and I am so glad I stumbled across this place.
A place where I can be crazy, goofy, Helpful, and at times even depressed. and still feel welcomed. 8)

I don't care if this makes me sound like a wuss (Wimp/Puss-x). I too get upset over little things with shows like Happy Days where Fonzie spends xmas eating ravioli out of a can/ shows like "Lassie comes home". These I do at home alone. But for some reason I find it hard to let feelings out in public or around people. People at work think I am uncaring at what goes on in life but I just do not know how to react.....
I applaud Meltdown for his honesty and which I can be more like that especially in public. :'( :'(
I even cried through "Sleepless in Seattle" :'(

Meltd0wn, it's great to have you on the board. Thank you for sharing such heartfelt sentiments with a group of people you've only just met. I look forward to getting to know you and reading more of your posts.

BrianMannixGirl, you are the rare exception to this, so please don't take offense by it...
I've said it before and I'll say it again: if a guy like this is single, there is something truly wrong with Australian women.

You know what? There are so many people here that I count as true friends...and that I am comfortable enough to "bare my gut" to them all! I am so grateful for the day I decided to become a member...both times! ;) :D
