Subject: 30th Anniversary!
Did you know this year is the 30th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Show?.I'm off to buy tickets at lunchtime for the latest stage show tour.Where does the time go??(not that i remember it from first time round seeing as I'm such a sweet young thing!)

I know I will take some bashing for this, but I loved TRHPS!! I thought it was absolutly a hoot!!! There is a theater that STILL has midnight showings of this...and I am not sure if I want to go again, being as I will be the oldest one there! I do know that there is a whole other generation of RHPS fans-maybe I'll have a go just to see how many of the parents I know! ;D ;D
Just as an aside, the band that played at my first wedding in 1978 performed "I'm Just A Sweet Transvestite". The 'rents were not pleased, but I was! ;)

OH! I still remember seeing this for the first time in 1989..yes I was late to see it (but I am only 31!)...but atleast I did...it was the BEST!! I don't know if I will ever get to see it again on the big screen...but I would go again in a heartbeat!!!

I LOVE Rocky Horror too---though I was a late bloomer as well, I was in my early 20's before I ever saw it, and that was only because hubby recommended it! Never seen it at the theater, though.. :-/ Neither of us can barely ever say "Dammit!" without adding the infamous "...Janet, I Love you..." ;D
We have a video of our oldest son "doing" the Time Warp at like 4 months--sure I had to hold and move him, but it was still cute! ;)

It's not all a man in female clothing - like, only one guy in basque and stockings for a couple of scenes (you don't *have* to wear that yourself)...
