I love Canada...was proud when they won the 2002 hockey Olympic gold :) I'm toying with the idea of getting dual citizenship so I can be Canadian and American...I go up there a lot even though I'm in CA :)
Subject: Re: I'm Proud to be a Canadian!

Canadians are some of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting in all my years.
Subject: Re: I'm Proud to be a Canadian!
I wish to do that too. Sadly, I can't afford dual citizenship. I can barely afford US citizenship. :-/

My aunt started saying "eh" regularly when she moved to Toronto...and she's a native Chinese. I think it's contagious. And I don't think it's a joke, at least 70% of the people I've ever met in the Toronto area, and even some French-Canadians, say "eh".

Even though I am American, I do have some Canuk in me. My Ancesters settled in what they thought was Canada. After a border disbute, they ended up being in the U.S. So, I guess, in a way, I'm an American by default. lol (But that was on my mother's side of the family. My dad's side is another story.)
