Subject: Must See Movies Of The Summer

Written By: BadAngel on 08/14/02 at 00:40 a.m.

The ones I'm really wanting to see are:

Signs - with Mel Gibson
The Minority Report - with Tom Cruise
The Master Of Disguise - with Dana Carvey
Mr. Deeds - with Adam Sandler
Men In Black II - with Will Smith

I'd like to see Austin Powers in Goldmember, just out of curiosity.   ;D

I'm certainly looking foward to MIB II. It'll be a good one, this time out.

I really "Need" to see Signs with Mel Gibson.  (I should add him to the "I Want" thread   :-*)

MIB was a disappointment IMO, save your $7 (or whatever the prices are going for over there) and wait until it goes on DVD/Tape.

I've seen both of those: Minority Report is fantastic - extremely suspenseful and unpredictable.  I would see it again; Men In Black II was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.  Like IslandGirl, I wouldn't waste my money or time watching that one.

I wanted to see Signs this past Friday, we even pre-paid for our tickets, but there weren't any seats in the theatre, so we wound up watching MIB II.  What a mistake!

Oh, Triple X was awesome!  My fiance had to drag me into the theatre to see that one, but I wound up really enjoying the movie.  Vin Diesel (sp) is gorgeous but doesn't have much for brains.

The only movie I really want to see is "Signs". So far, it's the only movie that looks really interesting.

I can't say I want to see many of those... I did see MIB II, and was thoroughly disappointed since I loved the first one.. Austin Powers III was ok.. the opening was the best part really... but it seems like it's starting to turn into the Police Academy movies to some extent.. still fun, but not worth going to the theater for.. Minority Report I thought was great, but the last two minutes were clearly Speilberg added, and just like AI, ruins the impact of the film.. certainly not the way a Philip K Dick story should end..

XXX, I just can't stand Van Diesel.. he irritates me for some reason.. I'll wait for the next Bond flick and watch the real thing..

Signs.. just looks too stupid.. I heard it was good from several people, and that the whole crop circle thing was a minor thing.. but I don't know.. I'll wait to rent it I suppose..

the only movies I look forward to right now, are in December.. The Two Towers and the next Harry Potter flick.. and I'm not even that excited to see the next Harry Potter movie...

Signs: Someone told me this was the first time they screamed in a theater. :)

Minority Report: I think I might rent it on DVD when it comes out, or at the $1.50 movie place.

Master Of Disguise - Looks like the. stupidest. movie. ever.

Mr. Deeds - Definitely didn't meet my expectations -- basically, it SUCKED.

MIB 2: Again, didn't meet my expectations, but not nearly as bad as Mr. Deeds. I don't think there will be an MIB 3 because of this movie, and how it didn't nearly compare to the first one.

AP in Goldmember: This movie was not only the best of the trilogy, but the best movie of 2002 (so far)!
