Subject: Late Night Hot Spots

Since I have no life other than work and the PC, I was wondering what would be some good hot spots. Any suggestions? ???

I'd recommend Peabody's, but I'm guessing you live nowhere near Peabody's.

I don't recomend Peabody's, all thats there is a bunch of stupid sailors, plus they are way overpriced, and too crowded especially in the summer. If you want  to meet normal people in Va Beach try Smackwater Jacks, Pockets, or some of the places on shore drive.

Tom Giblin's Irish Pub. But that would require a plane ride.

Is the Orbit Room in Grand Rapids still open, Sag? :) (I went there in the 90s.) Or do you just know the Eastern half of Michigan? And what's in Ypsilanti, other than EMU? ;D

Comedy Central recently showed an episode of Dave Attell's "Insomniac" that was set in Charleston, WV.  I'm serious!  (It's a show that takes Dave around all the hot spots of a city, in case you haven't seen it)

That's OK, I used to hang out on "The Block", but I got tired of being ripped off down there.  I still went to the Jewish Mother up until I moved, but thats it (but it's not on the Block, but it's close).

A little hole in the wall pub in the Fells Point district of Baltimore called The Cat's Eye Pub.  Usually it's Irish music on Saturdays and Blues on Fridays, but all kinds of music during the week.  I could tell lots of stories about that place, but you know, this is a respectable board, so I won't.

you know what, am not sure.  I never went to grand rapids, I usually stayed in the tri-city area (saginaw, flint, bay city).  as for Ypsi,  all I know is Eastern, I never went that way either, that would closer to Detroit.  to be more specific, Ann Arbor area, where U of M is.
