My closest friend and songwriting partner Kittie has just handed me the terrible news that her father has died. He started having seizures on 5/5/2002, and he died early this morning/late yesterday evening. Please send messages of condolance here, I know she's going to find it comforting when I tell her of how many people care. This is especially tragic when compounded with the fact that her mother is also suffering badly from breast cancer and has not long to live as it is. Honestly, a kind word here will mean the world to her when I tell her of the response, if any. I'd truly love you all to do so.

I'm so sorry Bobo. I will be thinking of your friend as I am having a similar experience with one one of my closest friends. His dad keeps having strokes and is slowly deteriorating. There is no hope that he will ever get better. My friend Matt never wants to talk about it but I know he's hurting. He wont open up to his male friends. He's a little better with me, but he claims he's accepted that he's dying, but I really don't think he has come to terms with it.

As I am in a similar position to you I hope at least she can find comfort in those that love her. My condolences go out to her.
