thanks everyone! this year marked the dreaded 30... which only remains dreaded I guess until the big 40 looms near...
my family threw me a party Saturday, at my own house (so even though they wanted it to be a surprise, it really wasn't).. I finally got to use the patio area I've been building for the past five or six years, and got to see my outdoor lighting in action..
one of my aunts ordered the birthday cake, and didn't realize a one sheet birthday cake, didn't just mean a sheet cake, but like a commercial oven sized sheet... so even after giving away half of it after my party Saturday, I've still been feasting on it morning, noon, and night.. and since I've been avoiding sugar for the past few months (for the most part) I've been on a sugar high and unable to sleep for the past two days...
what's really weird, is I was born at 8pm, and Mystery Woman's post was almost exact to the minute, when I "officially" turned 30.. one has to wonder who she's been in co-hoots with to know that information..
