Subject: introducing... me
I just found out about this site a few days ago after wishing i could've found a site like it for a couple of years. I posted three songs that i wrote yesterday under my real name (see if you can guess what they are judging by my email address). I'm hoping to win some awards here (of course i guess everyone here hopes that) and i'm a lot more motivated to write now that i know i can get exposure without having to sing - since i really am a bit tone deaf. I'm off to write a new song now but i'm sure i'll be back soon.

Yes, pull up a chair and come on in. Or are you one of those wall-leaners? Eitherway, I've taken the left wall, so you can't have that one. Welcome.

Howdy, Tone - I know just how you feel, finding Amiright for the first time. It's kind of like coming home, even though you've not been here before. Certainly, I know my parody output has rocketed after finding a place to post the things (though I do play & sing some of them, it's basically only the easy ones).
See you around
Phil

Howdy, Tone-Def. Nice to meet you.
Okay, I get it...Chucky runs the "Amiright" site, too. Cool. Untill I found this board I had no idea this parody-writing thing was so popular. Go figure...

Subject: Re: introducing... me
wow... pleasantly surprised at all the welcome i have received. And i guess since my email is hidden i'll have to say which the songs are that i posted under my own name... "Giddy-up style" a parody of hit 'em up style which i wrote last summer; " Scripted fight" a parody of kryptonite which i wrote during the fall of 2000 and "This is how you rewind me" which i wrote a few months ago and rewrote last week. I also posted a drops of jupiter parody which i finished yesterday and i'm currently working on a parody of avril lavigne's "complicated" I'm hoping the site gets updated someday so all of you can see some of what i've written.
