Subject: Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge Tourist Channels
Written By: Sammy Reed on 06/20/02 at 09:51 p.m.
What does anybody out there think of the tourist channels that run on the cable in motels in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, Tenn.? (5, 15, and sometimes 54)? Does anyone remember when it was just channel 8? If you have seen them, what do you think of the stuff they show on them?
Trivia question: Do you know how to complete this sentence?
"If you've gone from 4 lanes to 2,..."
If you can complete this sentence, you watch that stuff way too much, like me when I go to Pigeon Forge.

I might as well tell you. There is an advertisement that runs on these channels for a wood art place. The voiceover announcer gives you directions on how to get there, ending them with "If you've gone from 4 lanes to 2, you've gone too far."
If you watch these channels as much as I do when I go to Pigeon Forge, those words get forever stuck in your brain.
