Subject: What is anyone's most romantic moment?
I think mine is the other night at this one club, I sang to my girl, because they had karaoke, and I sang Kenny Chesney's "Me and You", it was so awesomely romantic.

Uhhhhh...ummm...uhhh...can't think of any. No one has ever swept me off my feet. That's kinda sad, isn't it? I'll be (gulp) 34 years old and it's never happened
:-/ :-[ ??? :( :'(
Well, I guess it's up to one of the strapping young men here to do it! Any takers? Anyone at all? Hello? Yoo-hoo!

Pathetic little me, I have never had a girlfriend. :'(
I was going to have one in kindergarden but my best friend liked her too so he stole her away from me. But don't worry, we're friends now.

Welllll... it's not a romantic moment, I'm not a traditional kind of person so all the glitter and flash that works for so many doesn't work for me. For example, the most romantic gift I ever received was from one of my college boyfriends and it was a keychain mace. I was living in a bad neighborhood at the time.
Now, I've had others attempt romantic things, but they weren't very original, so it didn't fly... I think it's romantic that the first weekend I met my other, to spend time with me he offered to help me carve a pumpkin (nothing impresses a chick more than a man willing to stick his hands in to slimy pumpkin goo!).

When I was with my ex-girlfriend Anna and we had foreplay with clothes on.Didn't enjoy it as much but it felt ok with clothes on because her overprotective mother didn't want her to get pregnant cause of her Down's Syndrome. -howard-

I was on a date..we were kissing in the car and Def Leppard's Love Bites came on the radio. It kinda fit because the next week we broke up. Everytime I smell Drakkar Noir, I think of him though.

Mine was a double-whammy. I was with a very good male friend at a concert. I had a crush on him, but he wasn't taking the hint.
When we arrived, a musician from a local band I had written a fan letter to came over to speak with me. I had a crush on the musician, too, but never expected anything to come of it. My companion stepped away, so I could have a private conversation with this guy. He overheard someone connected with the band talking about us, and how it looked like I was just another love-struck groupie. The musician ended the conversation by giving me a hug, and a very long, romantic kiss.
For the rest of the night my friend was extra attentive to me, playing the perfect gentleman, holding me close all night and dancing with me, even though he did not care to dance. That night it felt like the whole world was in love with me.
The next day, I knew my friend had been acting a bit out of character and I asked him why. He told me about the overheard conversation and that he acted the way he did because he wasn't sure if I had heard them talking. He knew that I was having a good time and wanted me to have that special feeling all night, without it being ruined by petty losers.

Hell, I'm married with four kids and no one has ever swept me off mine. Oops. I don't think I should have said that :o
But I guess I'm the sort of romantic at heart who never gets around to being romantic in real life...

But for a single letter change, that could have been fun ;-)

Once, when we were first dating, my husband pulled over to the side of the road and picked wild roses for me. Very out of character for him. He's more the grocery store bouquet type of guy.

the most romantic thing to me is when a guy...whom you really care about...or are serious with....winks at you from across the room...it is so subtle....just a little way to say... "hi......you are mine...I am thinking of you"
a wink gets me every time!!!!!!!!!!!! ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Well, in my short-lived and failed experiences as a romantic, I came to the conclusion that only the good-looking men can pull it off - the rest of us fall into the category of "aggressive," "overbearing," and the infamous "trying too hard" ::) All I would demand in return from anyone is honesty, but that's a little too much to ask nowadays. Some girl actually had the audacity to call a candlelight dinner at the Ritz Carlton "cheezy" - private booth and everything! (ever since then, I've had this horrible aversion towards the word and the milk by-product).
