Subject: Kelly osbournes version or madonnas version?
Who all liked "Papa Don't Preach" by Kelly Osbourne better than Madonna. I personally thought Kelly did much better at the awards. She has an awesome voice, and the way she presents herself, she is going to make it big. And she doesn't dress all slutty like Madonna did. I like Madonna, don't get me wrong, but she had her bad days and her good days.

I like Kelly's version much better. I downloaded Madonna's version of the song too, and I literally fell asleep :o in the middle of Madonna's version. Kelly's is more punkish, which is my type of music.

The music in Kelly Osbourne's version is pretty good, but the vocals leave something to be desired...I'm not really much of a fan of the song in either format.

I have to say I was expecting to hate Kelly's version - but I actually rather like it. Got that Punk type edge to it :)

Even though I find Kelly's version cute for its kitsch value, there's nothing like the original Madonna tune!!! :)

It seems like the younger crowd all likes Kelly's version better...lets get the older crowd (ie..grew up in the 80's) to vote their preference. I am betting that it will be Madonna's version among us.

I'll bet you're right!!
I prefer Madonna's version. I heard daughter-of-Ozzy's version today for the first time, and it isn't bad. But I still prefer the original.

I actually haven't heard Kelly's version all the way throgh, so I can't say for sure. What I heard of it I liked, better than I would normally like a cover version.
I'm going to be on the lookout for it this weekend. After I hear the whole thing I can give a clearer answer.

It sounds more belieevable from Kelly than madonna
I like kelly's much better

I think each has its own merits. Kelly's sounds more like a punk rock/riot grrl version while Madonna's is more danceable. Both are OK in my book.
