I have been seeing a number of kids especially"black"now supporting the afros that were once a hairstyle from back in the 1970's.I think it's great.I'm glad they're coming back. Some of the majority of the women are supporting them as well. You also see afros in movies with Martin Lawerence's"Is that the worst that could happen"? And Eddie Griffin's"Undercover Brother".How do you feel about afros now compared to back then? -howard-  8)

I think its cool that Afros are making a comeback... Speaking of afros in the movies I laughed my @$$ off in the naked gun series when OJ could not fit through the door due to his afro. :D

Does anyone remember the "shaped" afro bart simpson haircut that was seen alot in the early 90s?  :o

Humm NatMC, that name does not ring a bell for me. I am talking about styled afro hair that looked just like Bart Simpsons head complete with spikes... I saw alot of those when I was in Chicago in '92
