Subject: People Who Have Aged Well....And Not
This had been here before so....let's do it again ;)I think Sandra Dee has aged well, while Catherine Bach has not.....your turn :D
Subject: Re: People Who Have Aged Well....And Not
allright...Barbara Eden has aged well. However, Melanie Griffith has not.
Subject: Re: People Who Have Aged Well....And Not
These may not be great examples, but they were the first I thought of. I think that Sean Connery and Meat Loaf have both aged nicely, but Davy Jones (who I LOVED in the Monkees as a kid) has NOT! :P
Not so sure about women...Cher looks good for her age. But I think over half of them have had, shall we say, some serious help in the aging process... ;)
I'm sure some of the guys have too, but it's mainly the women, IMO.

Harrison Ford, Valerie Bertenelli - well

Good one, I hadn't thought of him. Nowadays all I know of Fred Savage is his voice as Oswald the Octopus... :-/
It reminded me of another less than stellar ager though...Henry Thomas from E.T. ......he was a pretty cute kid in that movie, but since then he just looks, well, kind of wierd... ::)

Aged well...w/o plastic surgery?
1. Bo Derrick (of course, she may have had plastic surgery)
2. Florence Henderson (possibly had plastic surgery)
3. Madonna (possibly had plastic surgery)
4. Richard Gere...MEOW!
5. President Bush (I think he's such a handsome man)
6. Michelle Pfiefer
7. Sela Ward
Aged horribly...needs plastic surgery?
1. Sylvester Stallone
2. Melanie Griffith (someone said her already, but it should be repeated)
3. Penny Marshall
4. Robert Redford (OK, I used to think he was cute, but he's been looking pretty rough lately)

Thanks, I needed that. I actually know that two of the above have the same surgeon, and two more each have their own in another country. But what a good laugh!

Harrison Ford, for sure, has aged very well.
He is going to be 60 in July! Can you believe it?

Victoria (Info-mercial) Principal is the most aggravating figure, in the wee morning hours, on the tube. >:(
She has the balls to pass herself off as aging well naturally and with the "use" of her beauty products.
Pllllllllllease!!! The woman's husband is one of Hollywood's top plastic surgeons!!!
She actually denied having had anything done, ever, even though she could get it done for free!!! ::) :P ::)
What-ever. ::)
I've been wanting to vent about that for a long time.
I feel much better now. ;D :)

To sort of go off topic here, I was just wondering what Rock 'n' RollFan's problem was? What's the deal with the whole "flit boy" thing for Jacko and why so critical and mean to Rosie O'Donnell. If you haven't got anything nice to say about people, then why say it? Don't you think your comments on Rosie were more than a little harsh?
Subject: Re: People Who Have Aged Well....And Not
I have only one thing to say.......LIGHTEN UP.This is just poking a little bit of fun at a few celebrities who will never know!!.I have noticed over the last few months that you seem to take life terribly seriously, believe me that is not such a good thing.Where in the world would we be without the abillity to laugh and have fun.Bless the lord for giving me a sense of humour I say,I know I wouldn't be here now if it weren't for it!
Subject: Re: People Who Have Aged Well....And Not
I assume you're talking to me Gis, and I have a sense of humour about certain things, but I don't find someone calling someone else absolutely ugly is a very funny thing, whether they are a celebrity or not doesn't matter.
I take myself too seriously huh? Why thank you for your observation on my life through a portion of my posts in the last month or two, I will definitely take that into account and try and see if I can make myself a better person in your eyes.
Now that the sarcasm is out of the way, can you highlight times when I have taken myself too seriously, just so I can understand where you're coming from. If you look at my poist count you will see that I have not amassed 200 posts, yet I have been around for quite a while. Why is that you ask? Because I only reply to threads that have some sort of meaning to me. I don't reply to a thread simple to say something like "that's happening to me too" or "LOL", I wouldn't say that's taking myself too seriously, I would say that that isn't wasting my time.

It's Mike Reno...and I agree. Up until the last couple years I thought McCartney looked pretty good still, but certainly the loss of Linda (I know how the death of someone can pretty much suck the life out of you) and young love has probably, as well!

Yes Hairspray, I am sorry that I failed to adhere to the guidelines, in future I will be more careful. Read whatever you want into that but that *wasn't* sarcasm.
Gis, please don't start this crap with me, please don't make me get angry and please don't make me get defensive. And pleas don't judge me on things you most probably dont have an idea about and please if you are going to say something about my character, please follow through with it, don't give me the "sigh, I rest my case" crap because we both know that that is put in place to demean me as a person, and I don't really respect that. Please understand where I'm coming from and please don't act as if the flaws in my character are just too much to even contemplate dealing in.
Thankyou.

It's not crap
It was not placed to demean you and it alarms me that you take it that way.Why must you feel I am demeaning you??Sorry if you thought I think your character traits/flaws whatever are too much to comtemplate, not so.I've already comtemplated them hence the post and a couple of other pre-crash ones.I can understand where you are coming from hence me worrying about you taking life way too seriously and that is not me being patronising. There is no sin in saying 'that happened to me'or 'Lol'.It's not wasting time it's enjoying it,bonding with people and having fun!
Oh,and if I believed for one moment RnR fan was seriously insulting R O'Donnell I too would have disagreed.
