Subject: yay! I got the phone.
Well,Last Sunday I finally got the real thing. The real phone.no more faking. The one I have is a Voicestream Mitsubishi G-310.It's pretty cool to say the least. My Mother and Father helped me get the phone. It's a $19.99 plan with 60 minutes a month and 500 weekend minutes.I've gotta try to be careful this time and save my minutes for Saturday and Sunday.I just love playing with the ring tones. It is so fun. It's like a new toy. So,How do you like this new plan I got? I think It's ok just as long as I don't go over the 60 minutes. -howard- :)

Congratulations, J.O.!!!
Now instead of talking to fake people about something, you can talk to real people about nothing....or something like that...

See,I need something to do when I walk the streets in Manhattan going to work.It just gives me a sense of feeling busy like most of the other people I see with their phone walking down the streets.I just pull up my attenna and I start talking about nothing.Well,I make up a conversation anyway even though I can't use up my 60 minutes a month,I just pretend! That's all. -howard-

Just yell "Buy! Buy! No wait! Sell! Sell! Argh! You bastards!" every once in a while.

You could always go round with a carrot in your hand and talk to that,it's very effective at getting people to move out of your way apparently!

Well,A year later Our whole Family now has a cell phone.I now have a Voicestream Motorola with stupid 60 minutes a month,My Mother and Father both have Nokia.Last week,My Mother asked me to program the phone for herself. She doesn't know how to operate one. It's like her first time with it.Well, here's hoping she knows what the hell she's doing cause she only has 60 minutes a month just like I do.Now we can all do some phone toasting! Cheers! ;D

You confused me for a minute, Howard. I was thinking wait a minute, didn't he already get one? I know it doesn't take much to confuse me on a Monday morning. ;D

It's funny how before people have cell phones, they figure they don't really need one, then after they get one they wonder how they managed to live without it.
I finally got one for myself last week. I am on a pre-paid plan, that came with a free phone (because it was a used phone). I pay $20 and depending on whether it is a weekday or nights and weekends I get a certain number of minutes to use.
I never have to worry about an expiration date that comes with some plans, so I never have to argue about "unused" minutes.
And it's from a major providor, so I don't have to travel all over the world to recharge my minutes.
I would reccommend a plan like this for anyone like me who rarely uses a cell phone, but is stuck on a dial-up internet plan.

Congrats JO! Don't irritate the people on the subway with it! Can you even get a signal down there?
