Subject: Cameras spy on messy dog walkers

A private detective agency is using spy cameras to catch dog walkers who don't bother cleaning up after their pets.
Investigator Mark Halstead, 35, uses all-weather infra-red cameras hidden in trees and hollowed-out stones.
The father-of-two, whose agency normally tracks down people having affairs, has already shopped one woman who was dumping her dog's mess outside a school.
At the moment he is offering his services for free around Milton Keynes, but hopes to go nationwide, reports the Daily Mirror.
He said: "People are using us to shop known offenders who have been getting away with it for a long time.
"Dog fouling is filthy and dangerous to children and we won't tolerate it."
He has film of 30 offenders which he is set to pass on to the council which could fine owners £1,000.
A Milton Keynes Council spokesman yesterday said it "encourages" community schemes such as Mark's.
