I would put in my vote for "Death of a Salesman". It just was too depressing and boring for my taste. Others would include anything from Eugene O'Neil and" Phantom of the Opera". So, what do you think is overrated on stage.

Any one-act plays that don't have any actual performance.
Example- "Love Letters In the Sand" is just a man and a woman reading letters spanning the course of 40 years, at 2 separate podiums.
*yawn*

Another Overrated Play: "A Streetcar Named Desire".
Besides myself, who here hasn't been involved in it?

It isn't one of Williams' better plays. I prefer "The Glass Menagerie" or even "The Night of the Iguana."

How about "Death Of A Salesman"?
If they want to make it interesting, they should do a sequel, in the 21st Century!

I loved Death of a Salesman, but I hated Our Town. Think of the Waltons mixed with Little House on the Prairie blended with On the Road with Charles Curalt, and you'll see what I mean.

Wasn't Willie a door-to-door salesman? That'd make him one step more annoying than telemarketers, and worthy of this guy's fate:
