This is true, especially if one lived in America. I don't think they are superior, and for the most part I don't understand the aesthetic tastes of people in most decades bar the 70s, 80s and 2000s (mostly the latter, I didn't exist in the 70s and 80s). Granted, the 90s did pave the way towards better queer liberation and racial justice which was actively frowned upon in the decade immediately before.

I grew up in the 90s(being ages 10 to 19), and I am nostalgic about it often. I try not to be because too much nostalgia is not a good thing...but I agree the 1990s were a great decade! It was a good time to be living. I miss the music the most.
