I was into Manga and Anime. Which one's did you watch/read if you did?

It didn't interest me either.
I think my son had no interest in it too, but two nephews of mine have been known to watch modern day Manga and Anime.

I was only a toddler in the 90s but I remember checking out the anime version of Thumbelina from the library and watching it, which is completely different from the Disney film that actually came out 2 years later. I also remember watching Pokemon and Sailor Moon and noticed how the animation was similar. I grew up in a town with a lot of Asian people so maybe that's why I was exposed to it more. My older cousin who was born in 1988 also loved anime so I watched it a lot because of him. I've always had an interest in Asian culture of all sorts since I was little.

I think there was something cooler about it back then because it wasn’t so mainstream.
I remember sailor moon and dragon ball being a bit popular in the mid 90.
Ghost in the shell was also a pretty big anime movie that was everywhere 1997 I think.
Maybe it was the first one.

I watched Sailor Moon and Pokemon, but I didn't know what anime was.
