I was way too young to remember them personally, but I remember many Nickelodeon shows that started in the early 90s still ran reruns into the mid 90s until Nick got rid of them completely during the late 90s. So I still have an appreciation for that time, I guess. I do like the now what we would call the “vapor wave” aesthetic along with the late 80s. I love going though any old videotape of stuff recorded off air from 1975-2005 for old commercials. So I love going through my collection of classic commercials that I made over 130 DVDs of and YouTube for that “geometric vaporwave” look. And for the “Y2K aesthetic” that I’m more familiar with.
