This is the first time I’ve heard this song as I wasn’t much into 90210. I love it, thought it was very beautiful. Regardless of what the words are saying, the melody, chords, instruments, modulation, everything just tugs the heartstrings. I think most beautiful songs happen to be good ballads.

You didn't hear the beautiful giates in "I'm the one you need"....? There are two of them in the song that make it so beautiful. One is at 0:47 to 1:04, second one at 1:47 to 2:04.

Wow sounds so 80s but it’s fair game here. I absolutely love it and it gives me goosebumps. I hear keyboard bells like Rod Stewart, synth break like Toto, chorus progression like billy idol, and I can’t quite place who the vocals remind me of.

"The Prayer" is a popular song written by David Foster, Carole Bayer Sager, Alberto Testa and Tony Renis.
A song that was weirdly playing on the tv when my dear father took his last breath. I switched the tv on, it was playing on local tv and it literally happened there and then. I like to see it as a sign from him. :)

Summer 1993...that Summer, I use to have a walkman/radio and I remember I use to sit on our steps of our 3rd floor apartment all by myself and listen to "I have nothing". I would listen to every note, and every part of the song and study it....I loved it. It was a beautiful song. It had many giates that I loved.

On our 2013 trip to the USA, we went past the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in LA, I said to my colleagues, that is the sit of a famous shooting, and gradually it dawned on them.

This is my favorite song of the 90s. It is perfect. It's so beautiful at :46 to 1:03, 1:47 to 2:03, and especially 2:55 to 3:12 because it is nearing the end and they added a special touch(I won't say what it is :-X) but that entire part is just musically stunning.
