Subject: ALF

Does anyone feel the 90s would have been better if ALF went on for a few more seasons? I can’t help but think something was lost after ALF was cancelled. Perhaps, ALF was meant to be a mid to late 80s culural phenomenon. How do you see it?

The show ended when ALF had to go back to his planet Melmac in 1990 and Yes I do believe it should've continued throughout The early 1990's. The 1980's were an alien related and science fiction decade with films such as E.T. and Mac And Me in 1988.

ALF was very much a product of the 80s and I think that took away from ALF being on in the 1990s. Well, that and baby Eric, Monroe Ficus, and ALF’s quick changing wardrobe in the last seasons.
