i thought the 90s was ALL about grunge and gangsta rap?
atleast thats what i been told by these 1988 born 90s/early 00s hybrid kids who apparently knows the whole musical scene of the early 90s when they were 1-4/5 years old lol

And I find that a lot of classic hits stations that have started to delve into the '90s aren't playing too many of these songs. And they still blend well with some of the '70s disco that these were rooted in. That said, I'd add the Jock Jams compilations as well; when I took karate in the mid-90s, this was one of the CDs that the instructor played.

You know you grew up in the 90's when you hear "What is Love?" by Haddaway and you start bobbing your head to one side, lol
