The energy had a semi upbeat quality back then, I remember feeling stupid as hell because I bought a Gameboy Color and Pokemon Blue...
not knowing I could play Blue on my Regular GameBoy..... I brought my color back and remained playing on my OG lol
Pokemon really kicked into high gear this school year
