To answer your question captaincharisma
Fall 1994 was the last year around the time Donkey Kong Country came out , I remember being in first grade and some of the teachers for the 94-95 year had poofy hair like the 80s. IT was already on the way out by 1993 tho

None of them.
The first year in the history of the world to have only ‘90s influences and new culture in it was 1999.

The ‘90s mainly consisted of ‘80s influences (i.e. -Growing Pains) and ‘90s influences (new culture of the time/i.e.- Friends). ‘70s influences (i.e. - Ryan’s Hope) were all gone or modified (i.e. - Hee Haw) in the 1990s.

The mid 90s had hardly any late 80s influences outside of Full House & Family Matters still being on the air
In 1999 That 70s show was in its second year a show about 70s influences
Watch a 1993 Boy meets world episode and then watch a 1999 episode

Boy Meets World is hardly something I would measure cultural shifts by!
more li.e.............. Family Matters. Watch that!
Then the show ended.

Boy meets world started in 1993 and ended in 2000
That is almost the whole 90s + early 2000s

Yes but it does not include the early 90's. That decade was split in 2.

Like July 1994 or something
Family Matters only looks more different because it moved from ABC to CBS and they used a new studio that made the set lighter, they also painted the kitchen
and living room for its 1997-1998 season
Fun Fact, Everyone Loves Raymond used the Family Matters kitchen for Season 2 onward, as it was taped in the same set

It could be that Boy Meets World lost its core audience after 1993 and became in syndication for so long that it lost touch with the 90's and took on more of an 80's feel.

A show has to be 100 episodes in to go in Syndication, and BMW wasn't in Syndication until 1999

But John, BMW went into syndication in 1994 following the steep drop off of viewers in 1993. Then it was relegated to network TV.

I can't seem to find it. But I distinctly remember being home alone in 1993 and crying into my ketchup covered popcorn when Topanga died in 1993's season finale and it was on The WB.

For the under 35 crowd, 1993. For over 35, 1996-1997. I literally can spot a ton of 80s hair on teachers in my old Elementary School year books from 96-97. But it could be my area?. In certain areas, it lasted well into the 00's for adults at least.
