Subject: circa 1997 fast food veggie burger?

I remember late 1996 to maybe late 1997 a fast food chain offering a delicious veggie burger. I just can't remember which one. At the time, I was living in NJ if this helps. I looked up McDonalds but they weren't selling a Veggie burger in 1997. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and what chain it might've been?

From the mid to late 90s I loved Burger King's Veggie Bean Burger. It was nice and spicy.
