Hands down 1994!
Any year that has Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, The Lion King, The Mask, Clerks, Reality Bites, and Dumb & Dumber is automatically epic 8). Damn 94' was killi'n it!

I second this. '94 was probably the best and most memorable year for movies of the decade. I would add '99 to your list of honorable mentions as well.

1994, 1995, and 1999 definitely stand out the most. I might go with 1999.
