"Basket Case" and "Kiss from a Rose," although I see the latter as far more of a 1995 song, since it was only after it was featured in Batman Forever that it grew super popular. "Vasoline" is a close honorable mention.

Daaaamn, was 1994 that boring with these choices? Wow. That just astonishes me. No offense, but I don't think I'll like any of these songs.
Edit: Except for "Big Poppa" by Biggie Smalls. That's pretty much it.

"Free As A Bird" by The Beatles was actually released in 1995, not 1994.
Either way, I picked "Zombie" by The Cranberries and the song I mentioned above.
