This needs to be merged in with other the other thread you created. Other than that, your choice of photos for portraying 1996 is poor. The only good picture is the one with the girl that's wearing the jean shorts and the orange-striped vest. Using pictures of older adults and children wearing white shirts and denim shorts is not a good way to define a time period. You have to look at photos of what the teens and young adults are wearing.

EDIT: My apologies for my upper text, I didn't realize how asshole-ish it came off as. I didn't intend to be rude when I was typing. I was just making a point that unlike teenagers and young adults, older adults and children typically don't care about the latest fashions of any time period they are currently living in, as well as white t-shirts and jean shorts which have been acceptable to wear since the 1970's. Points for posting a bunch of pictures though.

One thing that really stands out is how much bigger everyone's clothes were in the '90s.

Gosh, I don't have many picture from 1996. Only pics of my Sixteenth birthday, and those are stored away. I will try to describe what I wore that day:
It was plaid dress/skirt, which was very fashionable in 96. It was sleeveless, so under it I wore a black bodysuit which did have long sleeves up to my wrists. I had on black boots, and a silver clip in my hair.
There is one picture of me holding my cake that said "Happy Sweet Sixteen Jessica"...it was not a very big cake. The icing was white with green, and the letters were yellow.
