1997 is my favorite 90s year, to. I remember how smooth and relaxing the vibe was then just as much. The radio its self even felt alive at the time. The songs that define that year to me is Usher - Nice & Slow, U Make Me Wanna... Next - Too Close and Jon B - They Don't Know. 1997 was modern.

My favorite year of the 90s is 1998, with 1997 in second. Yeah, it was an extremely fun year.

For some reason, 1996 to 1998 was fun.

It seemed like a fun time to be a kid. It was a shame I was still a toddler. WWF/WCW Monday Night Wars were at their peak. Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, and Cow & Chicken and the debut of Toonami  start Cartoon Networks golden age. Nick and Fox kids were still in their peaks. Kids WB and regular WB were in their golden periods. Clinton got re elected. Princess Diana died. It was also a Dammed good year for movies as well, Good will Hunting, Titanic, Anastasia, Hercules, LA confidential, Con Air, Devils Advocate, Fifth Element, Men in Black, Air Force One, Private Parts, Liar Liar, etc.
also the GREAT mix of pop, grunge, and hip hop & r&b.

Feel the same way as you too bro! Probably the best year of the late 90's IMO. If I was a teen or kid in the 90's I would've loved to experience the year 1994 as well. Here's another thing that was great about 1997, it was also the first full year Mario Kart 64 was around in the U.S. as well!

My favorite years that I can remember from the 90s are between 1996 and 1997 followed by either 1995 and 1999. In 1997 some y2k elements did come about but for the most part from what I remember from that year it still had a very mid 90s vibe to it as SNES and Sega genesis games were still being played and sold in stores and gangsta rap was still around although it was beginning to become overtaken by materialist rap. I was 5/6 in 1997 and I can actually that as early as 1999 I developed a fondness for the year 1997 being that it was so fun for me. One thing I wanted to say in response to your claim that it was modernized, one thing to keep in mind is that DVDs were not sold on the market in the U.S.(assuming that's your native country) were not sold on the market for the majority of 1997 and I didn't even know of DVDs until late 1998 or 1999, so while 1997 was to some degree modernized in regards to technology and pop culture, it was very old school as well.

1997 was a great year for me. I think 1996 and 1997 are the years that the seeds of the YK2 culture were planted. Here's some of my fond memories about 1997:

I've heard a lot of people describe 1997 as a terrible year for 90s culture, or at least when things started to go downhill.  In music, lots of people couldn't stand the Spice Girls, Hanson, the Backstreet Boys, Puff Daddy, Mase, and Savage Garden, all of whom had overtaken artists like Oasis, 2Pac, and Alanis Morissette as the chart-toppers of the day.  If you type "worst year for music" in the Google search bar, 1997 is the first year that it suggests.  In film, 1997 had the controversial Special Edition Star Wars trilogy, as well as disappointing franchise entries like The Lost World and especially Batman & Robin.  Even with L.A. Confidential, Men in Black, and Titanic, '97 is a pretty far cry from the golden period of 1991-1995.

That being said, I actually really like 1997 and consider it a pretty solid mix of millennial era trends with a mostly core 90s feel.  Spice Girls and Puff Daddy are actually guilty pleasures of mine, pretty much the textbook examples for me, in fact.  1997 also had some excellent releases by The Offspring, blink-182, Green Day, Radiohead, blur, and the Foo Fighters, plus my favorite album by Mariah Carey, Butterfly, which is also easily the best pop album of the whole decade, imo.  Contemporary r&b was taking a slightly different turn, with a lot of artists either becoming more urban or integrating a more synthesized, millennial era-style style of production, but the genre still felt creatively inspired, before formulaic, repeated-note sex jams started oversaturating the radio the following year.  1997 was also a great year for video gaming, probably the beginning of what I consider the golden age, in fact.  Games like Mario Kart 64, Star Fox 64, Age of Empires, and Diddy Kong Racing were primary reasons why I got into video games at a young age in the first place.

I love this year also. Music was soo good in 1997, and fashion too. I turned 17 in 1997. I loved that Summer and I can still remember everything I did, the songs that were played on the radio and everything I wore.

This song was over played in 97:

Wtf? Gaming was already in its golden age during the 3rd and 4th gen! Older gamers that I friends with, would have laughed at that post.

The 8-bit and 16-bit eras were also excellent, but 1997-2001 was like the best of the best.  Not only was Nintendo producing some of its best material ever on the N64, the PlayStation now had a large and diverse lineup of games, PC gaming saw the releases of Age of Empires II, Roller Coaster Tycoon, and The Sims; Pokémon revitalized the Game Boy, and Dance Dance Revolution transformed the arcade into an exciting place for the first time since the early 90s.  Almost all of my favorite video games of all time were released during the millennial era, which is why I personally consider it the "Golden Age," while the 16-bit era was the "Silver Age" and the 8-bit period the "Bronze Age."

I wouldn't say 1997 was very old school. Its old school for sure. Also as far as the music, 1997 was pretty modern. If you take that logic, that's like saying The Early 2000s are very old school since the N64 was still commonly used until 2003.

3rd gen Bronze Age and 4th gen silver age, you went backwards!! ;D  Anyways, I love how generational this gets, my older friends would have been starting a BIG argument!!! But hey, that's your opinion!! ;)  I still prefer the first half of 6th generation (late 2001-2004) over the entire 5th gen. But that's my own opinion as well!! ;)  And I was into 5th gen gaming from 1999 until 2003, even though I got GBA in 2001 and PS2 02/03ish. But yes 5th gen FTW, I still played my N64 and Gameboy color and the PS1 with my cousin from late 2001-2003.

I know I'm probably biased, but I've always felt that the 16-bit era (4th Generation) is the best individual gaming generation. And it's not just because of the epic SNES vs. Genesis console war either. Just the sheer number of all-time great games that came out between 1991 and 1995 is stunning. I mean, Super Mario World, the original Sonic the Hedgehog trilogy, Mortal Kombat, Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, Super Mario Kart, Tecmo Super Bowl, Star Fox, Vectorman, Final Fantasy VI (my all-time favorite FF game), Earthbound, Street Fighter II, and NHL '94 just to name a few? It's hard to top that.

I have to say it sure was. I was a kid during that year and it was awesome aside from the negatives that occurred. I remember some of the music that came out and it was like a diverse mixture of genres. All of the cartoon channels/blocks were definitely in their golden age which I'm glad I was able to witness before most of them ended. Furthermore, this is the last year that's considered X before the full transition into the Y culture the following year and like others have said where it had more of a core 90s atmosphere than millennial.

I get what you're saying, that 1997 wasn't as old school as say the 80s or early 90s but it was old school in a more modernized kind of way. I honestly don't even think of 1996 or even 1995 as truly OLD SCHOOL I would consider those years along with 1997 old school in a different kind of way than the years before whereas some modernized things we have today began to emerge.

Overall I thought both generations were great but if I had to choose one or the other I would have to say 4th generation game systems since those were the very first systems that introduced me to gaming.

Whats your opinion on 6th gen?

It started off with a bang in the year 2001 but then grew surprisingly disappointing after that.  The sale of Rareware to Microsoft dashed my desperate hopes for a sequel to Donkey Kong 64, and I hated the gimmicky premise of Super Mario Sunshine so much that I never even finished the game.  I've also heard bad things about Star Fox Assault, which largely takes place outside of the Arwing; as well as a pretty divided response to Wind Waker.  People fell in love with the Metroid Prime games, but I never cared for FPS's, so I never felt the need to go out and buy it.  On the PS2, I was pretty underwhelmed by SSX 3 after the incredible SSX Tricky, and I never got into series like GTA and Metal Gear Solid, which were popular at the time.  In fact, after 2001, the only games that brought me to my sixth generation gaming consoles were Tony Hawk's Underground, Grand Turismo 4, as well as the numerous installments of Dance Dance Revolution for the PlayStation 2.  Actually, to be honest, Dance Dance Revolution is my absolute favorite video game of all time, and I played it endlessly after my sister got it for her birthday in November 2004, but in terms of the video game industry as a whole, the fifth generation just seemed to produce more memorable games, imo, than the sixth.  Even Dance Dance Revolution, while in its prime during the sixth generation of gaming, had already been introduced during the fifth, with the original arcade game coming out the exact same day as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in Japan, November 21, 1998.

On the bright side, I have a lot of fond memories of the Game Boy Advance, which not only produced the graphically marvelous Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire, but also ports of classic NES and SNES games that I had either heard of or played before, but never owned.  Finally, I could once again play Super Mario Bros. 2 after my dad sold off his old NES, turn on Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country without having to visit my mom's 24 Hour Fitness' daycare center, and be introduced to Super Mario Bros. 3 for the very first time after only having learned of it through Super Smash Bros. Melee.

You gotta admit the first half of the 6th gen was amazing. Jack and Daxter trilogy, Ratchet and Clanck trilogy, sly cooper, Final Fanatsy 10, Kingdom Hearts 1, Samsh bros Meele, Grand theft auto 3, San Andrés, vice city, DBZ Budokai 1,2,and 3 WWE Smackdown Shut your mouth, Here comes the pain, Mortal Kombat Deadly alliance, Halo 1 and 2 etc. I liked it better than the entire 5th gen. Basically the second half of 5th generation and first half of 6th gen was incredible.

1997 was the last year of my childhood and it was also the best.

My family wasn't culturally cutting edge.  I had a Sega Genesis and not an N64 at that time but I had a blast.  My friend had an N64 and I played games like Mario Kart 64 and Star Fox 64.  I personally prefer 4th and 5th generation consoles over anything that came out afterward.  1997 still had a mid-90s vibe with only hints of the Y2K era appearing late in the year.  It was a great time to be a kid.  Spent a lot of time that summer playing outside with friends and at the pool.  A lot of great movies came out that year.  I was obsessed with Power Rangers Zeo during the early part of the year, which in my opinion was the last great season of MMPR before it went to crap during Turbo.  I was pretty big into PC gaming also at the time.  I learned to play the trumpet. Summer 1997 was easily the best of my life.

1997 was the last year before I really started getting into Top 40.  I remember some of the songs that were popular that year like Barbie Girl, Don't Cry For Me Argentina, Candle In the Wind Diana Version, etc but I didn't spend a lot of time listening to the radio.  Anybody remember the song "Ooh Ah Just A Little Bit"?  It was everywhere that summer.

Politically it seemed like the last year of innocence before the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal and the Afghanistan terrorism that would happen in 1998.  Most people still liked Clinton in 1997.

'00s kids missed out on a great era.

I will admit the 90's seemed like a pretty cool decade to grow up in. The only year I could remember is 1999...

But I think 2000's was a great decade to be a kid in as well

Actually,I saw the advertisement on the back of my Smackdown vs RAW 2007 manual!! I never played the game back then, I'll probably buy the game on amazon and check it out.

You can get it for cheap at your local Gamestop.

There are pros and cons to each.  I am glad I was a kid in the 90s and not the '00s.  I think 4th and 5th generation game consoles were far superior to 6th and 7th gen.  Better technology cannot make up for crappier games and the loss of social interaction that came from the advent of online gaming.  People complained about split screen but it was great to have friends over and actually have face to face interaction.  With 7th gen consoles there was no longer any need for that.  However, you did have games like Guitar Hero, Rockband, and other party games to fill that niche.  2000s kids had much better toys and much better technology than '90s kids of the same age had.  I would have killed for some of the toys that 2000s kids took for granted when I was a kid in the early/mid '90s.  In 2007 it was normal for a 5th grader to have a cell phone.  In 1997 most homes relied primarily on a landline as cell service at the time was very expensive.

While some might disagree, I honestly feel like 6th generation gaming was an extension of 5th generation gaming, despite it being transitional. Both were 3-D/CGI gaming graphics on the console when online gaming wasn't big at all yet and there was still a huge variety of genres available. I enjoyed both 5th & 6th generation, I think both was the golden age of gaming. While I feel like 3rd & 4th generation were similar to each other, since that was 2-D 8 bit or 16 bit gaming era.

Actually 1974 is the first year it suggests. 1997 is second, and 2001 is third. I actually like all three of those years, and they all had some of the most iconic musical hits of all time. I call bogus on this one. 2012 is suggested at number four, and considering that I actually lived that year, there's some truth to that list. I honestly don't get how people dislike Puff Daddy and Mase, as I like their production styles. They feel very rich and don't sound overproduced. They make clever use of samples as well. Regarding the teen pop, I totally understand why people hate those guys

Regarding best years for music, 1967 is the first result (which I agree with). 1994 is second. I disagree with this, as I have heard almost every hit song of 1994 and I can say there were a lot of really boring adult contemporary hits and slow R&B jams, as well as a few uninspired reggae hits and a few boring hip-hop songs. I really only like a little over half of what that year had to offer (about 60%). 1995 and 1996 were better. If they had said best year for music 1995 or 1996 I would definitely agree.

It started off with a bang in the year 2001 but then grew surprisingly disappointing after that. On the PS2, I was pretty underwhelmed by SSX 3 after the incredible SSX Tricky, and I never got into series like GTA and Metal Gear Solid, which were popular at the time.

You didn't like SSX 3? I thought and still think it's incredible. I got it when it first came out and I was hooked. I got SSX Tricky in the spring of 2004. I liked it almost just as much, but I always kept going back to SSX 3.

I got the original game in early 2012, and I loved it. The more I played it, the more I fell in love. SSX was so original and unique. It's graphics were inferior to Tricky (admittedly as well as the controls), but it had better character design, better board design, better level design, real life sportscasters such as Mean Gene Okerlund (as sportscasters that are native to the courses and their respective countries), and most importantly, better music. They removed a lot of really great songs from the original and replaced them with less-than-special tunes in Tricky (and I'm talking about songs that I never liked when I was a kid). The robotic voice with the futuristic electronic music during the introduction of Aloha Ice Jam in the original was so cool, and the fire as well! The Pipe Dream course was much darker and more mysterious in the original, and they played better music in there (they also removed the secret pathway as well). I also loved how the characters didn't have annoying personalities like in Tricky (ditto for the narrator). Mercury City is shorter, but far more challenging and Snow Dream is completely unrecognizable.

Playing the original made me realize that SSX Tricky was unoriginal, change for the sake of change. Everything seemed so unnecessary and there was too much going on. SSX is also more serious and has an edgier feel to it, while Tricky is more zany and lighthearted. SSX 3 was a bit of a return to form, innovating once again and brought the series back to it's more serious and edgy roots, but updated to make it look less '90s. Both SSX and SSX 3 are better than Tricky.

'00s kids missed out on a great era.

Sounds like you had a great time back then. But honestly, I don't mind missing it. I'd rather be a teen and young adult in the '90s instead of a kid.

I both agree and disagree. The 5th and 6th Generation of video games I see as being similar in terms of the type of games that were being made for them. It was after the era of platformers but before the era of first person shooters. There was a more diverse gaming scene going on, with adventure titles, extreme sports, action titles, cartoon television adaptions, and stealth video games.

What I disagree with is the visuals. The jump from the PlayStation to the PlayStation 2 was the biggest jump in graphics that the video game industry has ever seen. It has never happened before or since.

This. Yes, I think the full 3rd generation-full 6th generation was the golden age of gaming. and you're right the 6th gen(at the time) felt VERY similar to the 5th gen, and currently the 8th gen still feels like the 7th gen.

Well Cartoon Network's golden age technically started in summer 1997, or the 1997-1998 school year was the first full year it was in full effect, so it's technically more of a millennial late 90's/early 2000's thing. So it could be both. Since throughout 2004-2009 Cartoon Network's golden age was already over, but throughout 1990-1996/early 1997 the golden age hadn't started yet.

This is true! This is how the 2000's went for me with gaming consoles:

Late 2000-Mid 2003, age 4-7: Main home console PS1, Main handheld Gameboy Color

Late 2003-Mid 2006, age 7-10: Main home consoles PS2 & Gamecube, Main handheld Gameboy Advanced SP

Late 2006-Mid 2009, age 10-13: Main home console Wii, Main handheld Nintendo DS Lite

Late 2009, age 13: Main home console PS3, Main handheld Nintendo DS Lite

So I literally grew up with the 5th, 6th, & 7th generations!

It's kinda weird

Late 1999-Mid 2001, age 4-5: Main home console N64, Main handheld Gameboy Color(Uncle owned Dreamcast and Cousin owned PS1)

Late 2001-Mid 2003, age 6-7: Main home console N64, Main handheld Gameboy Advanced SP(played Genesis and PS2 with my cousins during this time though)

Late 2003-Mid 2006, age 8-10: Main home console PS2, Done with main handhelds!! (My cousins owned the Gamecube)

Late 2006-mid 2008, age 11-12: Main home consoles PS2 and XBOX, (I was not going to get XBOX 360 and Wii overnight!!! lol)

Late 2008-2009, ages 13-14: Main home consoles PS3 and XBOX 360( The consoles that I associate with my teen years)

So yeah, I mainly grew up with the 5th and 6th! I wasn't into 7th gen until I was entering my teens. I even played the Genesis with my Uncle and Cousins! :D  I purchased my own Dreamcast and Saturn years ago. I even bought my own Genesis. There was NO NEED to get the PS1 console cause ps1 games were backwards compatible with my PS2! 8)

Actually, there are a lot of reasons Puffy and his roster of Bad Boy rappers are so reviled by a lot of people. For one, Puffy and Mase's Can't Nobody Hold Me Down was the critical turning point where mainstream hip hop went from angty and complex in the mid-90s to materialistically hedonistic in the late 90s and early 2000s. Many people saw Bad Boy's catalogue from 1997 on as being extremely exploitative, relying on beats that were not just sampled from, but practically cut and pasted from a past hit single, complete with full-on interpolations of the melodic hooks, as well. Sampling has always been a standard in hip hop, but Bad Boy's work was particularly bashed because of the way they would "commercialize" songs that previously had more serious subject matter, Can't Nobody Hold Me Down being the biggest example, having turned a 7-minute rant about the impoverished ghettos of New York into a braggadocio anthem about how much money and power its protagonists have. Most notably, however, was that a large amount of people believe Puffy was only triuly successful because he took advantage of Christopher Wallace, who turned his label into Death Row Records' archrival in the mid-90s and then helped the label virtually monopolize the hip hop industry in 1997 in the mourning over his untimely murder. I personally believe that Puffy's relationship with Biggie was sincere and that given the label's philosophy in the first place, Biggie would've wanted to have seen Bad Boy take over the world and sell millions upon millions in 1997. Still, I can understand why so many people believe Puffy's own game was unwarranted, as he was clearly an inferior rapper to his secret weapon, even though he was a deft businessman and could definitely produce a floor filling hit like hardly anybody else could.

My favorites are probably 1983, 1984, 1994, 1995, and 1996, with 2012 and 2014 being the worst (though 2015 will probably be near or at the bottom, as well).

Wow, I'm surprised you could genuinely say you thought Tricky was vastly inferior to both SSX 3, as well as the original. In my opinion, SSX Tricky had everything that was excellent about the franchise debut and expanded upon it drastically with several new characters, more courses (with returning ones becoming vastly improved), really effective use of Run-D.M.C.'s It's Tricky, and, of course, the introduction of  the all-too-cool über tricks.  Though Rahzel's voiceover got annoying some of the time, you could turn him off if you wanted, not to mention he was already in the first game, too.

I was disappointed by SSX 3 because you could no longer ride as many of my favorite characters from tricky, and, most damningly, the creative and diverse courses from Tricky were now replaced by a single generic mountain. My dad and I both think SSX Tricky is easily the best in the series, and we've both played all the games you mentioned.

I agree! SSX Tricky had a fun charm to it with the diverse range of characters, the uber moves, the tracks, the backstories, etc.

SS3 on the other hand, while technologically and gameplay wise an improvement, just seemed bland and generic. Not enough innovation as the previous game gave.

Though to be fair I only played SS3 at friend houses, while I personally owned Tricky  ::)

It was a great era for gaming. I still play my PS2 whenever I have some spare time. It is the greatest video game console thing to ever come out.

Hey, you're spot on! That was and will always be my favorite era of gaming, 5th & 6th generation gaming (1995-2006)!

Now looking back I wish I would've given Sony/Playstation a chance! Throughout my childhood and teen years I was always a Nintendo and Microsoft guy. But I never got any of the Sony/Playstation stuff, but the good news is that a lot of the games for the XBOX and Playstation did share each other, not all though.

Mine, too. The 1995-2006 games are more fun to me than the HD games of today.

It's never too late to pick up a PS2! I think they're maybe 30 bucks these days. Nintendo and Microsoft had some pretty rad systems, too. The original Xbox had Jet Set Radio Future and that game was sweet!! It's too bad the Dreamcast only lasted until 2003-ish (leftover wise, even though it was discontinued in 2001) because I bet it would of had some great games through out the 6th generation. I remember how much of a big thing it was when it came out in North America in 1999. I had already seen what it was like from clips (since it was already out in 1998 in Japan) and I was totally blown away with how good it looked. It had the looks but also the games to back it up.

I agree with both those statements and with your statement about the PS2 being the best ever. Jet Set Radio is better than Future for sure. Maybe the 7th and 8th generation would be a lot more fun with a Sega console at the forefront. That would be pretty rad!

You missed out bro. PS2, the best console EVER! Older guys would say SNES also. When the GameCube era was full swing I wasn't feeling it, PS2 felt cooler, futuristic, and badass. It feels like Nintendo never moved on with the times!

This is 100% true. I feel like the PS2 was for 2000's kids in the same way that SNES was for 90's kids. Both consoles dominated the early/mid sections of their respected decades sales wise, culture wise, & especially games wise! Great examples include; Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, Final Fantasy X, Twisted Metal Black, Shadow of the Colossus, Kingdom Hearts, God of War, Killzone, etc.

I feel like the Xbox was similar to the Genesis, both systems tried to seem more edgy but both unfortunately fell short because of the lack of diverse exclusives

Now the Gamecube was in a league of its own. It had many of your favorite Nintendo franchises (and IMO some of the best representations of those franchises) like Super Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart Double Dash, Super Smash Bros Melee, Metroid Prime, F-Zero GX, Zelda Windwaker, Star Fox Assault; along with some edgy games like Resident Evil 4, along with the Resident Evil remasters, & Eternal Darkness to name a few

So PS2 & Gamecube had the perfect balance between games aimed at kids, teens/adults, and all ages; while Xbox on the other hand really (at least from my own perspective back then and now) only seemed to cater to the teen/adult demographic, which is why, despite selling slightly more than Gamecube, isn't well remembered by most people. I always found the 360 to be a major improvement of the original Box because it fixed a lot of the problems with original like the lack of exclusives/deals

Well 1997 was a big year in the gaming industry though, at least here in the U.S. when it comes to 5th generation.

I feel like Dreamcast and XBOX were both the genesis of that era!

True! This makes sense because many consider the Xbox the spiritual successor to the Dreamcast since many proposed Dreamcast games (like Shenmue 2) were ported to the Xbox. Also the Xbox controller and their edgy marketing were inspired by Sega as well

Music in 1997 was too good! Dance music was at it's best, and I loved how every song had a dance version.

I agree.  1997 was the last year of mid-90s style eurodance that was everywhere from 1993-1997.

It's never too late to pick up a PS2! I think they're maybe 30 bucks these days.

I think you can get them cheap off of amazon or eBay.

I think The PS3 is the better console.

The PS3 was a pretty damn good console, it just took a while to become a good console. PS2 was great throughout it's entire run. Also the highest selling console ever! It just brings back great memories.
My personal favorite consoles
PS2
N64
PS3
PS1
Genesis
Dreamcast
Honorable mentions: XBOX 360, original XBOX,GameCube

Sorry guys I've currently never played the SNES, :-[  I hope to collect it soon! ;)  and the only handhelds I've played are the Gameboy color and advanced. Also sorry to get off topic about 1997, SpyroKev and the2001! ;D

When I first saw the video for MMMBop I thought Hanson were a bunch of little girls.

Haha! I remember a lot of girls looking like Hanson did back then. I wonder why they decided to be so girly.

Are you sure? Perhaps it's where you lived and what community you hung out with. I found this picture taken in early 1997:

And another one taken in late 1996 (different school):

Both of them are Class of 1997. I actually really like what a lot (not all, a lot) of what the kids looked like. The girls look very pretty and not like Hanson at all.

Now if you were talking about 1993 on the other hand....  8-P

I'm pretty sure. Yeah, chicks looked f**kin' great in those days (and were often the fuel of my hormonal teenage feelings) but I'd often see the weird ugly ones who looked like the "young men" in Hanson (can you really call Hanson "boys" anyway?). I grew up in California but I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

Look at this photo, though:

The middle "boy" looks like the third long lost Olsen!

Too bad a haircut won't make their music any better.
