Subject: Vanessa Williams

Some people might associate her more with the '80s from her Miss America win and scandal, but she's always been somewhat of a '90s icon to me as I associate her with Disney's Pocahontas from my childhood.
Her biggest pop hits are as follows:
"Save the Best for Last" (1992) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EdmHSTwmWY
"Love Is" (1993)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nra7OwEc0oA
"Colors of the Wind" (1995)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbuzskVs6rc
She remained relevant through the 2000s with roles on TV shows such as Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives, the former for which she earned three Emmy nominations.

Yeah, she had great songs during the 90's. My personal favorites are "Save The Best For Last" and "Colors Of The Wind." :)
"Colors Of The Wind" had been on the soundtrack of the Disney animated film Pocahontas; can't believe it's been 20 years since that came out.
