Subject: Pulp Fiction - influence on '90s pop culture?
Written By: 90s Guy on 07/25/15 at 8:50 am
I was talking to a guy I know who is now 37, so he was 16 when Pulp Fiction came out in 1994. He said that Pulp Fiction was HUGE with guys his age, that a lot of the guys his age wanted to look just like John Travolta did in that film, and grew their hair out the same way.
I'm curious - for those reading, did Pulp Fiction impact popular culture (fashions, etc) in your neck of the woods when it came out?

I don't really think Pulp Fiction had any influence on 90s pop culture. They just show pop culture references from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Hell, even their soundtrack was full of old songs from those decades. Especially Misirlou by Dick Dale, which was made in 1961, for example.
