Subject: The '90s Rave(r) subculture
Written By: 90s Guy on 05/04/15 at 11:59 pm
Couple of questions:
1) What would you say were the peak years of the Rave era/rave culture?
2) What music constituted the anthems of the rave subculture?
3) What was the fashion of the rave subculture?
4) What are some good movies/tv shows from the 90s which show off the scene?
5) Was there a big connection between the rave and goth scenes?

I don't know anything much about raver subculture, unless it's synonymous with cyberpunk. In that case I know cyberpunk to involve colorful dreadfalls, tripp pants, socks worn on the arms, and accessories like goggles and sometimes masks. Music would be industrial dance. That's these days though. I know ravers liked things that lit up, like glow tubes to wear and mini glow sticks inside their mouths.
