I was still young enough in the early 90s to enjoy cartoons. Used to love Saturday mornings with stuff like this...
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1990-91). Used to watch this with New Kids, Tail Spin, Chip N Dale.

Bill and Ted, theatrical heroes of the Bush 1 era along with Tim Burton's Batman and the original Nick Szalinski!!! Bill and Ted were excellent!!! Of course, I watched the live action version of the show a lot back in good old 1992!
Those were the days (to me anyway)! I wasn't a New Kids fan then, but I understood that most women everywhere thought they were all "hotties" (early 90s slang).

The 80s were a better decade for cartoons. Ugly 90s cartoons are so sloppy looking. So many of them should not have existed. "90s kids" only took a liking to characters like Rocko and Catdog because they were on when nothing else was. The 90s decade sucked because it was about 1990 (the most 80s year of all time, extremely 20th century) becoming 1999 (a very 90s year, the unofficial start to the 21st Century). '99 sucked for pop culture, IMO. It's really too bad that humanity wants to keep moving forward. The "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" rule really applies to the 90s decade. The early 90s had everything from Dance Party USA to The Party Machine with Nia Peeples, it should have been left alone!!!!

If I were going to make a list of the greatest cartoons of all-time, there would be at least five of those in my top 15, if not more. Animaniacs, The Tick, Gargoyles, and Pinky & the Brian are all in an elite class, and you could make a very strong argument that Batman: The Animated Series is the greatest animated children's show ever made. My personal favorite is Darkwing Duck, which I feel has always been a criminally underrated series.
I know I am (intensely ;)) biased here, but I personally believe that the Renaissance Age of Animation (roughly 1987-1996) produced a majority of the greatest cartoons of all time.

Pinky and the Brain was part of Animaniacs, and don't forget to add Tiny Toons to the list!

I saw "Aladdin" as a stage musical production at Disneyland, it had it's charm, and the actor playing the Genie could have easily been Robin Williams , he was very good.

I'm sorry but the majority of 80's cartoons were TERRIBLE and FORGETTABLE! Cheap toy-line merchandise cartoons that only appealed to young children. A lot of cartoon characters taken from the 60's or 70's turned into babies. I don't think so. Even many of the action cartoons from the 80's were extremely mediocre compared to the 60's, 90's, and 2000's ones.

Speaking about 90's cartoons did any of you guys watch Toon Disney back in the day? Like 1998-2003/4 when they had all those classic 80's/90's & early 00's toons on that epic network, before Jetix screwed it up lol. While it sucks that I didn't grow up with Disney Afternoon I'm glad that I had Toon Disney, ABC One Saturday Morning & UPN'S One Too, those were great times to be a kid 8)
Here's a montage of the bumpers and some of favorites I would watch on there:

Jetix was cool being an older kid during those years! At 9 and 10 I enjoyed watching reruns of digmon, and some other fox kids shows! As they were from my early and peak childhood! It felt like they matured with me as a viewer! But that magical feel that the real toon Disney brought was special in 1st and 2nd grade!

Yeah I didn't mind the shows on Jetix I was just pissed that a lot of my favorites were getting replaced by more Jetix time or Disney Channel shows. By the way were you class of 2013 or 14'?
