When did this hairstyle become popular? When did it go out of style? Did it continue into the 2000s? Do you think it will come back? I need answers from people who remember the 90s (70s babies and 80s babies)

Well, I think it was still somewhat popular when I was in middle school from fall 2000 to summer 2002. I don't have a yearbook at hand to check it (I live in Mexico but I left my yearbooks in Seattle, where I'm from) though.

You know, I don't recall seeing this hairstyle very often, if at all.
And really, not to be a dick or anything, but to be honest I find it to be rather unappealing. :P

I don't remember that exactly, but I do remember in the earlier days of high school girls would section and roll the front of their hair and pin it, with the rest in a ponytail or just left down.
