Yep! This song was very popular and was the subject of much contreversy after Mattel toys sued them for infringing upon Barbie's supposedly "wholesome" image.
The judge ultimately sided with them stating that the song was a parody and was protected under freedom of speech.

I actually knew that...because when the song was first introduced on the radio 15 years ago, the announcer explained that bit. And their dad was the late jazz trumpeter Don Cherry.
