In 2010, 11 million British women tried out the Rachel haircut. That's something like one quarter of the population of women in the UK! :o

Funny that you asked, because just last February, I had asked to have my hair trimmed. Just the basic 1/2 to 1 inch while having a few layers for body, but after I left the chair, my hair was around the shoulders with some face-framing layers so it looked like I had a bit of the "Rachel"!

I see that hairstyle on quite a few women in their 40s and 50s, and it looks really good on them.

Yes I wonder if it's more an older woman thing. It's a fairly nice haircut, there is a reason it's popular.
