Subject: Groundhog Day

Does anyone else think this movie had kind of a classic feel to it? It seems like it's been around for a lot more than just 19 years. I guess because I think of Bill Murray as being such an 80s actor but Groundhog Day was kind of the end of his prime.
I love that movie and my dad's birthday is actually on Groundhog Day.

it will be as boring as Murray knowing what's coming up next, but then again you can change words you don't like at any message.
I liked it that film..the first, second and even third time I saw it, but not every fall, oh lord !
I guess it turned into tradition...round and round

Phil:
Well maybe the *real* God uses tricks, you know? Maybe he's not omnipotent. He's just been around so long he knows everything
Phil:
I killed myself so many times I don't even exist anymore.
And a phrase that I still use to this day:
Morons, your bus is leaving.
Love this movie.

Well, reliving the day over and over enabled him to figure out what point of the day these things happened, so he could time it just right. :D

Even on the final instance, when he finally breaks the timeloop, it's also playing...but at a different point in the song, plus the guys bantering on the radio say different things.

In honor of the day itself upon us, I thought I would bump up this thread, especially since this year marks 30 years since the film premiered in the cinemas.

Still cannot find it, and with my back, I am still not going to move the bags and crates, etc.
