movies like Jurassic Park, Titanic, Twister. Is it just me or do you not hear that in movies these days?

Unfortunately, Hollywood finds it cheaper to use pre-recorded material than to hire some musicians to create original music for the film. I'd also add in The Bodyguard, Schindler's List, and Forrest Gump to that list, along with the many Disney features of the decade.
