Loved that Killing cover. It was great 8)
My all-time favourite would have to be 'Suicide is Painless'. The original version as credited to The Mash was (of course) the theme to the 1970 movie M*A*S*H. An instrumental version was used for the long running M*A*S*H TV series, but in 1992, the Welsh rock group Manic Street Preachers covered the song ...

Never have I heard a non hard rock song work so well as a hard rock song, that for that reason alone makes it my choice for the greatest cover song of all time!
