that's not much to go on. Do you remember if it was a woman or man singing? techno dance or R&B? did you hear it in the US? Canada? UK? Au? or somewhere else?
did you hear it last week or are you remermbering it from the 90s? Any idea when? beginning? middle? end?
in the meantime I automatically thought of Janet's Alright. That's probably not it but I love an excuse to watch a janet video

great...well I'm sure Whistledog, claybricks, or henk will come along any day now and figure it out for you... I've never heard of the songs you've mentioned so I probably don't know the one you're looking for either. good luck.

In a strange coincidence I just sat down to watch an episode of L&O Criminal Intent that I've never seen and this song was playing...
It's not R&B and it's not a dance song but it most definately is song by a man with a woman who says Alright, ri...ri...right.
so um... don't know if this is it but here you go. It's also not from the 90s but still---- you never know.

Easy. That's gotta be Magic Carpet Ride by Mighty Dub Katz.

Hmm. Not sure if this is 100% original version. I don't remember the vocoder parts.
Anyway... Mighty Dub Katz = Norman Cook = Fatboy Slim.

That may not have helped Snozberries, but it helped me a bit. We're talking around 120-130BPM, light techno/house/urban dance stuff, female vocalist, occasional bits of rap. Are we getting closer?

This is the video as I remember it, and the song is closer to the original version. But it's still a remix.

I knew this answer as well :)
I recall Cook announced that he would retire the Fatboy Slim name a while ago, but he seems to still appear at concerts and festivals as Fatboy Slim. I wish he would bring back Pizzaman
