Subject: Any Simpson's-esque mid 90s shows?
Written By: Ryan112390 on 03/27/10 at 1:53 pm
While in the late 90s (1997-1999) there came out quite a few Simpson's esque Adult Oriented Cartoons, such as King of the Hill (1997), South Park (1997), Futurama (1999) and Family Guy (1999), I was wondering if there was any Simpsons-like or Adult Oriented Cartoons that appeared in the mid 90s (1993-1996)?

Duckman (1994-1997)
Beavis and Butthead (1993-1997)
Daria (1997-2001)
Beavis and Butthead and Daria (Daria is actually a spinoff of B+B) were more aimed at teens though.

How about the Dinosaurs? They were like the Simpsons, except they weren't animated.

Then there was Capitol Critters.
I remember that show; it was short-lived on ABC in the 1991-92 season.
CBS had an animated drama show called "Fish Police" in mid-1992; that was short-lived as well.

Ironically Mission Hill was created by the same executive producers of the Simpsons during the mid-90s. They made this because the Simpsons never had a 12-25 year old characters besides Otto.
