Subject: What kinda sneakers are these?

I ask cause I never see any sneakers like 'em anymore--what brand/style whatever would they have been called? I ask cause you only see Nike or high top style sneakers today.

They're kinda blurry but look like Vans Authentics. I still have a pair of these - bought some black suede ones and wore them in my wedding.

They look like "Skip's" to me. That's what we called them, anyway. Good old canvas, no-nonsense sneakers. They may have been made by Keds, but we always wore the $5.00 knock-offs!
