Subject: Reeves and Mortimer

This Northern England comedy duo always made me laugh during the 1990s. They started out on tv with 'Vic Reeves's Big Night Out' and then swiftly followed it up with 'The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer'.
The comedy is surreal and stupid and it is meant to be. It can miss as well as hit and if you don't understand what they are going on about that can be an obstacle too. However, I really think they are comedy genius's who are often, though in my opinion unfairly, compared to the late Morecambe and Wise.
This clip is from the low-budget Vic Reeve's Big Night Out. It's a section called 'Novelty Island' and parodies talent shows. :)
