Subject: Help me name Alternative dance song...

I need to track down a song I used to play at my club,
I just can't recall much about it but will share what I can and hopefully one of you savvy souls will know it...
The song would have came out early 90's or perhaps late 80's it was what I call alternative dance in the vein of songs like American soviets, Russian radio, Houseman, New York, New York, if you are into that music you know what I mean,
In my mind the song has an overseas "Russian" theme feel with some sort of Campy western touch because I would mix in Erasure The good bad and ugly,

The only alternative country dance song, that I can think of is Cotton Eye Joe, by Rednex.
