Subject: Paula Abdul Performance?

Hi Everyone!
I'm looking for a performance Paula Abdul did in around 1990-1992. I know it was the early 90s and at some awards show (Else the Grammys or the American Music Awards) AllI remember about is that Paual wore some kind of little black bondysuit coveredin chunky crystals and like knee high boots or stockings and had her hair in a high ponytail.
I wish I could give more info, but that's all I really remember.

Back in the day, that was generally her look whenever she performed, so it might be difficult to pin it down to one performance

Google said that this was from an MTV VMA performance, but it didn't say what year it was. :( Does anyone know what year she was on there in this get up?
(Actually I can't beleive she put that on...she looks like an extra from Prince's Cream video ;D )

It was 1991 and she performed Vibeology (which I liked at the time).

I have been looking, for years, for a janet jackson performance.. it was on AMA (I think)
Janet was wearing a white shirt and ripped jeans... I think her dancers were wearing the same thing. It was 1986 or 88
dang it what were they singing... I wanna say it was from the control album. Maybe when I think of you but I could be wrong about that.

@Robby: No wonder I don't remember the 1991 VMAs. That was the same year Prince put his booty on display for all the world to see. I didnt' rmemeber my name for a good 10 minutes after I saw him! And I wasn't even a fan at the time! Anybody notice that Paula is the onyl woman in entertainment short enough to date Prince. ;D
@Snoz: I don't know all too much about Janet Jackson actually. I'm a fountain of knowledge on Michael Jackson, but I trickle down to a drip at Janet. But if I had to take a stab at it, I'd say it was Black Cat from the Rhythym Nation album...maybe. I can ask my friends and see. I'm sorry I can't be of any more help.But I actually don't really listen to Janet Jackson. Nothing against her, it's jsut that everytime I wanted to buy something from her, I found something from Michael first. LOL.

The best 'Janet in jeans' performance for me is her 1993 MTV Awards one for "If". I love how it changes pace at 2mins 50.

that wasn't it but it was a great performance... I think you gave me some ideas on that page how to find it tho... thanks!
thanks Tiffeny I'd appreciate your checking with your sources...someone may know...in the mean time I'm on it as well
if it helps there is a specific dance move in the performance... its a little cheesy now but at the time I was wowed by it.... Janet and the dancers put up one legs and then dip to the floor and come back up... I'm not explaining it right.
