Subject: Song from June 1999 with words "Too Far" in it

There was a song played alot, in May-July 1999. Female singer, possibly
a duet with a male. The words "Too Far" were in it. It has a painful, saddish
thing about it. I vaguely remember it. I liked it but was going
thru a bad time at that time.
For the life of me now I can't remember it. I tried looking at the l999
top hits list too, and either I don't recognize the title or dont see it.

Thank God I Found You by Mariah Carey with 98 Degrees and R&B singer Joe or could it be We Can;t Be Friends by Deborah Cox and R.L. from R&B group "Next". I can;t think of many female/male duets in mid 99.

I was thinking maybe 'One Step Too Far' by Faithless/Dido, but if I remember, that one was 2001
