In 1993, shortly before Ace of Base debuted from Scandinavia, another promising artist from Sweden burst onto the music scene, with his album "Supermarket", and the song "Here We Go" made international waves.
Stakka Bo (aka "Johan Renck") has been characterized as one of the moe under-rated acts ever to hit the music scene.
Working along with Stakka on his debut LP was the Swedish rapper Oscar, and Nana Hedin.
Other songs from this album include:
-Down the Drain
-Happyman
-Living It Up
-Natural
Each of Stakka Bo's songs have a very disctinct message, usually about something significant in the world.
Examples:
-Living It Up (water pollution)
-The Great Blondino (casual sexual relations)
Since this album was released, two other LPs have come out:
-The Great Blondino (1998)
-j.r. (2001/released in the US in 2007)
Johan Renck has also become a noted video director.

'Here We Go' went to UK #13 in 1993. It's a good song! :)

Everything I have heard from Stakka Bo, I have enjoyed.
I am agog with anticipation to hear the latest one!
(Being of strong Swedish descent, I am quite proud of it!)
